What Are The Treatments For Congenital Pes Planus?

Muscle injuries, which are sometimes referred to as a strained or pulled muscle or a muscle ache, can make it difficult to go about normal daily activities and can interfere with getting a good night’s sleep. Fortunately, many muscle injuries can be prevented and those that do occur can often be treated at home with rest, elevation, hot and cold compresses and pain relievers, although severe muscle injuries may require medical treatment. Consider this information derived from the Mayo Clinic and the National Library of Medicine about the causes of muscle injuries.

Ankle sprains could be inversion or eversion sprains. Eversion sprains occur when the ankle gets twisted outwards. Majority of ankle sprains are inversion sprains, wherein the ankle twists inwards, thereby causing damage to the lateral ankle ligaments. Stress to the calcaneofibular ligament due to inward twisting of the ankle, followed by weakening of the lateral talocalcaneal ligament, is often the trigger for pain in the sinus tarsi region. If such injuries are left untreated, or the affected individual doesn’t follow recommended self-care measures, the result can be chronic ankle pain. Pain and instability could force the affected individuals to change their lifestyle. pes planus valgus

Flat feet is a medical condition in which the arch of the foot has fallen. This condition is known as pes planus or fallen arches. As an athlete with flat feet, one of the most important things that you can know and take to heart is how to get comfortable in your shoes. With the wrong kind of shoe, the athlete stands to not only injure his foot, but also suffer from joint pain. While the diagnosis may be suspected on clinical grounds, diagnostic ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) should be done to better assess the condition of the tendon.

Training errors” are probably the number one cause of overuse injury among athletes or anyone participating in a regular training program. The more common “errors” that lead to injury involve the mismanagement of the frequency, volume, intensity and recovery within a training program. These variables are a part of every training program and need to be manipulated individually and as a group in a way that allows the body to develop a “tolerance” to the activity so progression can occur without injury. I landed on your site and was wondering if you could possibly help. I have arthritis in my feet, along with being flat footed and bunions and bunionettes on both feet. I have tried custom made orthotics to no avail, they make matters worse. Are there any comfortable shoes out there that would fit my condition? I used to be an avid walker, but I cannot do so anymore. I do need a wide toe to accommodate my bunions. Please help. Thank you. The perfect shoes will provide the essential support, stability and comfort that will alleviate the pain and other negative symptoms associated with flat feet.
